WEEK 16 in the NFL brings me back to East Rutherford, NJ and The Met Life Stadium to spin for the emotionally depleted NY JETS crowd & ESPN RADIO. The World Famous Don La Greca & Greg Buttle will be chatting it up on stage as I bring much needed energy to a hopeless season. Week 16
Jets vs. Chargers
Emergency Service, a nyc based Rock/Funk/Reggae band, held their Music Video Release Party for single "Feel Your Love" at Robert De Niro's Tribeca Cinemas (home of the Tribeca Film Festival). There was a great turnout for the night, and DJ FLO and myself were shredding records on the balcony that overlooked the dance floor. Just a few weeks back was the Mt. Holyoke College (South Hadley, MA) spring concert and it was On & Crackin'!! 600 + kids with FLO & Jonesy on the turntables, we killed it. We also brought along with us an artist and true homie Chad & his cousin Ronald from Harlem. Shouts to those two for a great time and Chad most definitely killed it with his performance. Matter fact.. heres some footage of the performance, there I am on stage.. Mama I'm Famous!!! lol. Check the volley ball making it's way around.
Mickey Avalon performed the first set which was def. entertaining. There were even people protesting outside of the venue against his provocative language... psh.. squares.
I guess they did have a right to protest though, his performance was pretty explicit...
